What We Do

Our initial vision for WOVEN is to be the best online community for weaving women veterans of all eras, experiences, and armed services together in the spirit of connecting, sharing, and serving each other, our fellow veterans, and our communities.

Since WOVEN first launched in Bradenton, Florida we do meet monthly in person to share stories, learn about VA Healthcare and Benefits relevant to women veterans, and discuss themes for personal effectiveness in work and life.

WOVEN will evolve as our community grows.  We hope you'll join us and share your ideas and stories. 

Why We Do It

There are over 1.8 million women veterans in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, and our numbers are rising since women now comprise over 15% of our Active Duty forces.  Women veterans will make up 15% of the veteran population by 2020!
